As Earth’s shadow passes over the moon in tomorrow’s eclipse, the curtain falls on another lunar realm: Right Ascension, the sixth and final installment of my Syzygy series, goes on sale today! It’s only 99c on Amazon Kindle and B&N Nook.
For readers who’ve been following the hexalogy, I’m excited to bring you its conclusion. Syzygy has been a memorable journey as a writer, a science nerd, and creative parent to a cast of characters for whom I’ve developed a ridiculous amount of affection. If you haven’t started the series yet, however, you might want to hold off a little.
What? An author telling people NOT to buy her book? What is this (pardon the pun) lunacy?
Although I originally published it in serial form, Syzygy is really one big story. Now that the narrative is complete, it’s time for an omnibus: all six novellas united in a single volume. Newcomers to the series might find that edition more convenient. (And even fans of the original might appreciate the bonus material I plan to include!) I will be making it rain advance review copies (ARCs), so if you’re willing to post your honest review on Amazon, Goodreads, and/or your social media, hit me up on the contact page and let me send you a free book. Official release date for the omnibus is TBD, but expect it by April at the latest. (While you’re waiting, you can still read the first installment, Transient Phenomena, for free on Kindle and Nook.)
So if you have clear skies tomorrow night, take a moment to appreciate the lunar eclipse in perigee syzygy (the astronomical term for a “supermoon”), then get a little closer: curl up with your Kindle and take a science fiction adventure to near-future Earth, Luna, and beyond.
